Washburn Guitars Introduces the EA40SCE Acoustic/ElectricGuitar

Designed for stage performance, the EA40SCE is based on theoriginal, feedback resistant, thinline Festival Series bodystyle.

 

Washburn Guitars introduces the EA40SCE acoustic/electricguitar. Designed for stage performance, the EA40SCE is based on theoriginal, feedback resistant, thinline Festival Series bodystyle. The EA40SCE is a thin jumbo style acoustic/electricguitar with a Florentine cutaway for extended upper fret access.The guitar features a book matched solid Alaskan Sitka spruce topwith quarter sawn scalloped bracing and stunning flame maple backand sides. A smooth satin finished maple neck offers the utmostplaying comfort and is topped with a rosewood fingerboard whichmatches the rosewood bridge.  The bound flame maple ca ppedheadstock features a pearl inlaid Washburn logo and stylized W aswell as elegant gold Washburn die cast tuners. The unique rosettefeatures mahogany with hinge motifs of maple.

The EA40SCE is well suited to live performance due to itsfeedback reducing thin body and features Fishman Presys+electronics for superb natural sounding amplified tone. The Presys+includes a built in tuner and notch and phase controls furtherreduce the possibilities of feedback.
