Tom Waits Joins Bridge School Benefit Concert -

Neil Young’s 27th annual Bridge School Benefit Concert will play host to the first live performance from Tom Waits in five years.

Waits is set to join a line-up heading by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young which will also include sets by Queens Of The Stone Age, My Morning Jacket, Elvis Costello, The Killers (Sat Oct 26 only), Diana Krall, fun., Heart and Jenny Lewis.

On Sunday, October 27th, Waits will perform an acoustic showcase featuring tracks from his 2011 album ‘Bad As Me,’ with his band, which includes David Hidalgo on guitar, Les Claypool on bass, drummer Casey Waits and more.

"I had every good intention to stay home and work on my JD Salinger Halloween mask,” explained Tom, “but when Neil told me yesterday he was serving burnt cow's eyes on a flat tire and it's all gluten free, I invited myself!"

The Bridge School Benefit Concert takes place on October 26 and 27 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
