TASCAM Releases 4x4 and 2x2 Trackpack Bundles for First-Time Computer Recorders

(PRESS RELEASE): TASCAM, the brand synonymous with professional recording products, has released the Trackpack 2x2 and 4x4 recording studio bundles, offering an affordable and easy way to start recording from the comfort of your own home.

Trackpack 4x4  

The idea entry-level package for users wanting to easily create stereo recordings from a variety of instruments, the Trackpack 4x4 comes with a US-4x4 audio interface, two TM-80 microphones and two sets of TH-02 headphones.

Right out of the box, the Trackpack 4x4 can capture any performance in stunning clarity, thanks to the two TM-80 condenser microphones and shockmounts. These can be used to capture a single instrument in stereo, or a single instrument and vocals simultaneously.

The USB-powered US-4x4 audio interface, featuring four XLR/TRS (mic/line) analogue inputs with phantom power, is great for users stepping into the recording world for the first time, with easy to use controls complementing serious recording capabilities; the Ultra-HDDA mic preamps boast -125dBu EIN rating, resulting in a very low noise floor. Due to the wide dynamic range, the US-4x4 can also be used with dynamic microphones in addition to condenser mics.

Designed for great studio monitoring, the TH-02 headphones provide acoustic isolation with a closed design and are easily stored or transported by folding completely into the headband. With a wide frequency response of 18Hz to 22kHz, these headphones will also offer a clear, uncoloured sound for monitoring during mixdown.

Included with the Trackpack bundle are codes for Cakewalk Sonar X3 LE and Ableton Live Lite 9 DAW software, making the Trackpack 4x4 the complete bundle for first-time computer recorders.

Trackpack 2x2

The Trackpack 2x2 includes everything you need to record music on your computer: TASCAM’s US-2x2 USB audio interface, one TM-80 studio condenser microphone complete with shockmount, one set of TH-02 headphones and Cakewalk Sonar X3 LE and Ableton Live Lite 9 DAW software.

Perfectly suited to individuals wanting to take their first steps into music recording, the Trackpack 2x2 features all the essential equipment needed, including the US-2x2 USB audio interface. Powered via USB for Windows users, the US-2x2 features two XLR/TRS (mic/line) analogue inputs with phantom power. These allow the input of condenser mics and the balanced connection of synthesizers and other equipment, whilst guitars can be directly connected enabling the use of 3rd-party plug-in effects. Using an AC adapter, the US-2x2 is even compatible with iOS products such as iPad and iPhone.

Similar to the Trackpack 4x4, codes for Cakewalk Sonar X3 LE and Ableton Live Lite 9 DAW software are included, whilst both bundles are compatible with many other DAWs.
