Seattle sound veterans Soundgarden arestreaming their long-awaited comeback album, 'KingAnimal' exclusively at NME.com

The album is the first from the band in 15 years and willreceive an official release on 12th November.

Soundgarden frontman ChrisCornell told NME earlier this year that the follow-up to1996's 'Down On The Upside' would "pick up wherethey left off".

He said:

"We have an album coming out in the fall. It's kind of hard todescribe, it's sort of picking up where we left off. There's a lotof different feels on the album. We're a band where every singlemember contributes music so that makes it very diverse. It's a veryrich album with a lot of different moods to it."

Soundgarden will also play an intimate show atShepherd's Bush Empire this Friday, November 9. Tonight's show willmark 18 years since they became the first ever band to perform atthe venue after reopening.
