Signed Jimmy Page Acoustic Guitar Raises Just Under £10,000 for Thai Charity -

An autographed guitar signed by Led Zeppelin legend, Jimmy Page has sold for 423,000 Thai Baht (approx £9,500), reports MetalTalk.

The auction was held at the annual Jesters Ball in the tourist resort of Pattaya, Thailand on Saturday (Oct.29). However, the autographed Yamaha acoustic, which was donated by Page this past March from his personal collection, wasn't all that was on offer. A further 60,000 Thai Bait (approx £1,200) was also raised for charity via a signed black and white photo of the guitar icon.

The money raised for the guitar and photo will go towards children's charity Care4Kids which help under privileged children in Pattaya in the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand.

The charity event was held by the Jesters Motorcycle Club which was formed by expats from around the world and Thai businessmen.

Check the video of Page strumming and discussing the guitar below.
