NAMM 2014: Bugera Announces G5 Infinium Tube Amp and 112TS Cabinet with Turbosound Speaker -

The G5 Infinium is a studio-ready combination designed specifically for the tone-obsessed guitarist.

Bugera’s new G5 Infinium is the ideal rig for recording guitarists, with 5-Watts of Class-A power for saturated tube tone at output levels that can be set all the way down to 0.1 Watt. Bugera’s proprietary Morph EQ lets the user sweep between iconic U.S. and British-style tones with the simple twist of a knob. Revolutionary Infinium Tube Life Multiplier Technology constantly monitors and tweaks output performance – extending power tube lifespan up to 20 times.

The vintage-spirited, hand-built G5 Infinium features one ECC83 and one 12BH7 in a classic push-pull configuration, which was designed specifically for its vintage tonal character. High-definition Reverb is included with a dedicated control and heavy-duty Channel/Reverb footswitch – plus the G5 boasts an effects loop with Level switch for use with external processors.

Bugera’s new 112TS, loaded with a world-class Turbosound 12″ speaker, which handles up to 80 Watts, is light and durable – and small enough to ride in the passenger seat. The perfect companion to any Bugera tube-powered amp, or powerful addition to a combo setup, the 112TS is amazingly versatile and looks as great as it sounds. Custom-engineered by world-renowned Turbosound, and mounted on a void-free, multi-ply hardwood soundboard – the 12″ speaker delivers the sound that dreams are made of.

This little 5-Watt G5 is a real tone machine, and you get all of that tone – even when you turn the output way down low!” said Bugera’s Product Manager Jan Duwe,.

Plus, if you’re looking for an easy-to-transport, great-sounding studio setup, just connect the G5 to our new 112TS Turbosound-loaded speaker cabinet – and you’ve got a tone-connoisseur’s dream come true!”

The Bugera G5 and 112TS are available at a suggested U.S. MAP of $249.99 (£150.00) and $159.99 (£100.00) respectively. Bugera products are covered by Music Group’s 3-Year Limited Warranty Program.
