Joe Bonamassa Performs All-Acoustic Showcase at The MontreuxFestival -

Toward the end of June (29th) rising Blues legend Joe Bonamassadebuted an all acoustic show at the world renowned MontreuxFestival. 

Joe brought an exclusive All-Acoustic presentation to theprestigious Vienna Opera House that was also recorded for a brandnew DVD slated for a March 2013 release date. The Black CountryCommunion guitarist enlisted an eclectic assortment  musiciansfrom around the globe for the performance including:  GerryO'Connor, a music historian and traditional Irish fiddler; Swedishmulti-instrumentalist Mats Wester; Los Angeles keyboard maestroArlan Schierbaum, and rounding out this cast is legendary PuertoRican percussionist Lenny Castro.

During his time in Vienna, Joe paid a visit to the KlangfarbeMusic Store, which is located in the historic Gasometer buildings,to meet & greet fans; and was honoured by the Vienna Walk OfStars where his hands, feet, and signature were imprinted. He nowjoins the likes of Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, Steve Lukather, PeterFrampton, Bryan Adams and Manfred Mann on the Walk of Stars.

Steeped in musical history, the Montreux Festival is thebrainchild of passionate Jazz fan and visionary Claude Nobs in1967. It is now the second largest annual music festival in theworld after Canada's Montreal International Jazz Festival and isconsidered  a concert staple for Music lovers in Europe andaround the world.

Before the show Joe explained of hisnew acoustic show, "I don't know what to expect when I walk outthere.. the adrenaline will take over and we will see whathappens.
