Fleetwood Mac Confirm 2013 Tour Plans -

Fleetwood Mac have confirmed plans for aworldwide tour set to kick off in 2013. The tour, which willbegin next April in the US, will also be accompanied by a newalbum.

Singer Stevie Nicks tells Rolling Stone:

"It's the perfect time to go back out - 2013 is going to bethe year of Fleetwood Mac."

She adds:

"We have two new songs that I cut with Lindsey Buckinghamtwo weeks ago that we might play. We're pretty proud of what we'vedone. We're looking at it through the eyes of wisdom now, insteadof through the eyes of jealousy, resentment and anger."

Long-term guitarist Lindsey Buckingham hadsuggested that the band tour last year but he later admitted thatgetting everyone to agree was proving tough.

"If you look at Fleetwood Mac as a group, you can make thecase of saying we're a bunch of individuals who don't necessarilybelong in the same group together, but it's the synergy of thatthat makes us so good. But it also makes the politics a little moretenuous," he said. "You can say that not only can it be a politicalminefield, someone's always causing trouble, right? I causedtrouble for years so I can't point any fingers."
