Faith Guitars are delighted to announce the launch of their new PJE Legacy Series guitar range.

Focusing solely on historic acoustic body shapes from Faith Guitars designer Patrick James Eggle, PJE Legacy Series guitars comprise three distinct shapes – the baby-jumbo Neptune (PJE Saluda), the drop-dreadnought Mars (PJE Kanuga) and a brand new offering from Faith, the OMC shaped Earth (PJE Linville).

Each model features a combination of solid African Khaya Mahogany back and sides and solid, torrefied Canadian Sitka Spruce tops. The process of ‘torrefaction’ or ‘torrefication’ describes the process of timber that has essentially been ‘roasted’ in a kiln with meticulous controls over atmosphere and oxygen levels to reduce the wood’s moisture content. The result is an extremely stable tonewood that produces a rich, mellow timbre with a very mature voicing - typically heard on guitars that have mellowed naturally over decades of playing.

Additional professional fittings and features include natural bone nuts, saddles and bridge pins, flamed Maple bindings and Macassan Figured Ebony fingerboards and bridges. PJE Legacy models are also the very first Faith acoustics to feature pickguards, with all three models boasting a unique Patrick James Eggle custom design crafted from solid Macassan figured Ebony.

All guitars feature an all-over high-gloss, lacquered finish, a 45mm nut width and are stage ready with on-board electronics in the form of elegantly-designed Fishman Flex Blend systems that combine an undersaddle pickup and condenser mic for tonal definition and added percussive clarity.

Faith Guitars PJE Legacy Series guitars are available in stores now retailing for £1229 (Mars), £1259 (Earth) and £1299 (Neptune).
