Eddie Van Halen Poses with Giant 'Frankenstrat'-

Eddie Van Halen stopped off at the Universal CityWalk this past weekend to check out the giantreplica of his iconic Frankenstein, or Frankenstrat, guitar whichis housed at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood.

Eddie's son Wolfgang, who replaced longtimebassist Michael Anthony in VanHalen, tweeted the photo of EVH posing next to theguitar.

The tweet read:

The Hard Rock updated the guitar display in November of 2011 asa salute to Van Halen's iconic homemade instrument.

In related news Van Halen's rescheduledJapanese shows were announced recently: the band will play theTokyo Dome on June 21 and Osaka's City Central Gymnasium on June 24and 26.
