Aerosmith Debut New Single 'Legendary Child' (VIDEO)

On Wednesday, Aerosmith debuted their new single, "Legendary Child," on the season finale of American Idol.

The song is from their forthcoming new album, "Music From Another Dimension," which will be released August 28. It will also appear in the film "G.I. Joe: Retaliation," which hits theatres on June 29. 

"Legendary Child" has some Aerosmith history: it was originally recorded during the sessions for the band's 1993 album, "Get A Grip". You can hear the new track in the soundcloud player below

This is Aerosmith's first all-new album since 2001 and is being produced by, Jack Douglas, who previously worked with the band on their classic albums such as "Toys In The Attic" and "Rocks".

Aerosmith's "The Global Warming" tour starts on June 16th and finishes on August 8th.
