2013 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees ExhibitOpens April 16 -
Canadian prog-rock trio Rush are to be featuredin a new music exhibit at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame tocoincide with their forthcoming induction on April 18.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports (via Hennemusic) that Rush artefacts including aNeil Peart snare drum, Alex Lifeson's double-neckguitar and a Geddy Lee bass - which was used torecord '81 classic, 'Tom Sawyer' will all be on show for fans toview.
Other artefacts set to feature from the Hall of Fame class of2013 will include a '87 Dean electric guitar which belonged toNancy Wilson of Heart, a customBolin electric guitar given to Albert King byBilly Gibbons of ZZ Top, an EmmyAward from Randy Newman, a jacket worn byFlavor Flav of Public Enemy and Quincy Jones's musical score from"Thriller."
The exhibit will be anchored by a three-screen multimediapresentation that tells the stories of the inductees.
The 28th annual Induction Ceremony will take place on April 18at the Nokia Theatre inLos Angeles.
