(PRESS RELEASE): USA designed pedal boffins Xvive have brought another great selection of effects units to the table, including their first artist-inspired models.

The Duet Looper (XD3 £79.99) is a dual mode mini looper pedal that provides up to 5 minutes recording time on up to two loops. Its stereo 44kHz 24 bit audio has been voiced for an analog sound, with true bypass and a USB port for firmware updates and upgrades. Users can record a loop, then overdub with a second, or arrange chord sequences in an alternate verse/chorus style.

Designed by pedal genius Howard Davis, the new Memory Man Analog Delay (XW3 £109) is an authentic, analog delay unit that allows the user to access a plethora of vintage flavoured delay tones, whilst utilising hi-tech filtering and noise reduction circuitry, all housed in a rugged aluminium chassis. With up to 600ms of delay time, and complex rich modulation the Memory Man is the ideal pedal for anyone wanting vintage, boutique delay tones without the prohibitive price tag.

Bass players have also been catered for with the Bass Squeezer compression pedal (XB1 £36.99). After working in conjunction with former Tony Martin Band and session bassist Jamie Mallender, the team at Xvive present this 100% analog, true bypass bass compressor pedal, ideal for both live or studio use.

Xvive have also called on the expertise of German guitar supremo and amp designer Thomas Blug, who has developed two new pedals for them. The Golden Brownie (XT1 £52.99) is a high gain distortion pedal that emulates those classic 1980’s cranked-up valve amp tones, whilst the Tube Squasher (X01 £49.99) use FET based circuitry to give natural tube amp overdrive and acts as an ideal gain boost.

Finally, you can power up to 8 different effects pedals with the new Micro Power Supply (XV19 £49.99). Featuring seven 9V outputs and one 18V outputs, this compact unit will fit easily and neatly onto most pedalboards and provide safe, stable power for your effects.
