Unison Fund Announce Rush are to Donate Portion of Salesfrom Canadian Tour Dates -

Rush have announced they'll be donating aportion of their ticket sales to struggling musicians in theirhomeland of Canada.

The Rock And Roll Hall OfFame inductees will donate $1.00 from each ticket sold for theCanadian leg of the upcoming Clockwork Angels tour in July.

The money will then go to the Unison Benevolent Fund, anon-profit charitable organisation that provides struggling musicindustry professionals who are struggling to makes ends meet.

Unison say:

"Whether it's a favourite song or an album by a treasuredartist, music impacts our lives. Every recording and show requiresan invisible network of professionals working collectively tocreate all the music that is important to you.

"The majority of this team are self-employed or freelancecontractors. They usually live without the support of a safety netand when a crisis occurs its impact can be devastating.

"Thanks to Rush, Unison will change that."

Jul 6 - Hamilton, ON - Copp's Coliseum
Jul 12 & 14 - Halifax, NS - Metro Centre
Jul 24 - Calgary, AB - Scotiabank Saddledome
Jul 26 - Vancouver, BC - Rogers Arena
