The Kinks to Reissue 'Muswell Hillbillies' -
The Kinks classic album 'Muswell Hillbillies' is set to be reissued as a deluxe edition which will include five previously-unreleased tracks, reports Classic Rock Magazine.
The two-disc edition of The Kinks' ninth studio album, first released in November 1971, has been fully remastered from the original tapes by band archivist Andrew Sandoval. The re-release will also feature a new booklet designed by Phil Smee.
'Muswell Hillbillies' features the musical keyboardist John Gosling, bassist John Dalton and drummer Mick Avory alongside the Davies brothers.
The Unreleased tracks set to be included on Muswell Hillbillies are 'Lavender Lane' and 'Mountain Woman' and the second disc also includes alternate versions and three John Peel Session recordings.
The Muswell Hillbillies deluxe edition is launched on October 7 via Universal.
