February 23-24 sees The Guitar Show - the UK’s biggest guitar event - return to Bingley Hall in Birmingham for two days of exciting live stage action, masterclasses and the best new gear from the world’s leading brands.
With a host of new exhibitors attending the show for the first time – including ESP Guitars, Maton, Atkins Guitars, Vox, Takamine, Seth Baccus, Oil City Pickups and Victory Amps – the exhibition area will feature more guitars, amps, effects and accessories than ever. The show will also see the first UK appearance of Marshall’s recently-launched Studio series amps and Laney’s Black Country Custom pedal line.
On the Live Stage, Ryan Roxie (Alice Cooper, Slash’s Snakepit), Paul Sayer from The Temperance Movement and UK blues sensation Aynsley Lister join a line-up that also includes Bumblefoot, Status Quo’s John “Rhino” Edwards (with his solo project Rhino’s Revenge), Chris Buck and many more.
And for the first time Focusrite are to run no less than eight guitar recording masterclass sessions over the weekend, covering topics including choosing an audio interface, miking techniques and using EQ and compression. Among the speakers will be engineer and producer Mike Exeter (Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Cradle Of Filth), YouTube sensation Pete Cottrell and Jam Track Central artist Sam Whiting.
Also exhibiting are brands including Orange, PRS Guitars, Laney, Ibanez, Bareknuckle, Roland, Diezel, Eastman, Peavey, Faith, Blackstar, Ernie Ball/Musicman, Shure and more.
Tickets for The Guitar Show 2019 are priced at £12.50 (£8 for under-16s) in advance and available from http://www.theguitarshow.co.uk/tickets/
