Sheptone Announces New 6T8 Humbucker

(PRESS RELEASE): Known for their excellent pickups, Sheptone announces the 6T8 Humbucker pickup. This new set is designed as an ideal pickup to match with a hollow or semi-hollow body guitar. The pickup provides a clear but slightly grittier T-Top tone. The set also offers brighter and livelier tones for solid body guitars as well. The 6T8 set uses a long rough cast Alnico 5 magnet, as opposed to the original short machined magnet. This helps give it that gritty growl and clear balanced  tone. Wound  with #42 poly wire on butyrate bobbins, the neck pickup averages 7.4k DC resistance and the bridge pickup averages 7.8k DC resistance.
