Rush Leading the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Public Vote-

Rush are currently leading the public poll to be inducted intothe Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class of2013, reports ClassicRock Magazine.

So far the Canadian prog-godfathers have pulled in 24.3% of allvotes, Deep Purple are in second place with 17.15and Heart are in third with 12.5%.

However the public count will only be a single voice among the600-strong panel who have the final say on which artists make thegrade or not.

Artists nominated for this year's Hall of Fame induction areDonna Summer, the Paul Butterfield BluesBand, Heart, Joan Jett & theBlackhearts, Albert King,Kraftwerk, the Marvelettes,Chic, Public Enemy, theMeters, Randy Newman,NWA and Procol Harum.
