Rodrigo y Gabriela Perform with Metallica's Robert Trujilo

Metallica's Robert Trujilo performed alongside acoustic guitar duo Rodrigo y Gabriela at their show on August 17th at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.

The bass warrior joined the Mexican pair for an encore which played out as a small tribute to Metallica as the trio performed a medley of "Orion", "For Whom The Bell Tolss", "The Frayed Ends of Sanity" and "Battery."

Rodrigo y Gabriela are no stranger to Metallica covers and have included a number of tracks by the Bay Area thrash legends in their sets through the years.
