Q.O.T.S.A, Motorhead  &  Alice in ChainsAnnounced for 2013 Download Festival -

The 2013 Download Festival has announced more acts set toperform at next year's edition of the 3-day metal fiesta.

The already impressive line-up now looks even better withAlice in Chains, Queens of the StoneAge, Motorhead, 30 Seconds toMars, the Gaslight Anthem,HIM and A Day to Remember beingadded to the bill. They join previously announced headlinersSlipknot, Iron Maiden andRammstein.

Next year will mark the first appearance for desert rock titansQ.O.T.S.A, who are currently working on their new album.

Also rumoured to appear are glam-rock legendsKISS, who are reported to be headlining the secondstage at the festival.

Download Festivalorganiser Andy Copping has said ofSlipknot's 2013 headline slot:

"Slipknot's last appearance at Download has gone down in thefestival's history as one of the best ever headline sets. God knowswhat they'll have in store for 2013 but I'm looking forward toseeing how they'll top the last one."

Next year's Download Festival will take place from June 14-16 2013at Donington Park.
