Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard Unveils New SoloTracks -

Pearl Jam's Stone Gossard hasunveiled two new tracks from his upcoming solo album'Moonlander.'

The tracks, entitled 'Moonlander' and 'I NeedSomething Different' are Gossard's first solo releases since2001's 'Bay Leaf' wit Goassard's second solo album set to bereleased on 25th June via MonkeywrenchRecords.

Gossard told Spin Magazine (via Classic Rock):

"I like to write music - exploring with lyrics and figuringout how to make complete songs is fun."

When discussing his new album Stone reveals that he has gonethrough more than 60 ideas since his early 200 outing, although hemaintains that not one thing has changed about his approach, hesaid:

"The things I was attracted to then are still the same thingsI'm attracted to now - oddball riffs that strike my ear as beingdifferent.

"But I think that I was focused much less on lyrics then.Now I'm fascinated by how a lyric can really impact asong."

Gossard's bandmate Mike McCready recentlyrevealed that the band's next album is almost complete,explaining:

"The fans will hear what we are and where we are. It's goingto be to their liking, I think - it is to us. Some of the standouttracks on there are pretty amazing."
