Pearl Jam founder and grunge luminary, Mike McCready, is set to perform for the first time with Seattle Symphony at Benaroya Hall next year.

The performance is part of the ongoing Sonic Evolution series which celebrates Seattle's most famous musical innovators with new symphonic compositions of classic tracks.

Curated by the symphony’s music director Ludovic “Ludo” Morlot, the Sonic Evolution series' most recent concert featured the symphony playing an interesting orchestral rendition of ‘Baby Got Back’ with rapper Sir Mix-a-Lot.

The Sonic Evolution series with Mike McCready will take place on Jan 30th 2015 at Benaroya Hall.

Tickets for Sonic Evolution are available at www.seattlesymphony.org
