Paul Gray to Feature on Next Slipknot Album -
Late Slipknot bassist, PaulGray will have his finalmusical contributions heard on Iowa metallers next album.
Slipknot, who are currently on a well deservedbreak from their recent touring cycle, haven't yet announced a nameor date for their fourth studio offering.
In a recent interview Artisan News (via MetalTalk), Slipknotpercussionist Shawn 'Clown' Crahan spoke about late bassistcontributions:
"There are songs that he's written that will be a part of thenext record," says Crahan in the video interview postedbelow.
"We're all going to have to think like him, and he'll bethere. He'll be there; there's no way Paul Gray will not be a partof anything that we do for the rest of our career."
Gray's bass was placed onstage during Slipknot's last touringcycle, with the band's touring bassist, DonnieSteele, remaining offstage during shows.
Crahan also told Loudwire:
"As we all know, Paul was a major writing force in the band. We've been sporadically touring for two years to share the grievingprocess with our fans instead of doing it by ourselves and havingthem do it by themselves - we're doing it together … Even thoughit's been over two years, you've got to be able to go into thestudio calm, cool and collected, because I'm not ready to walk intoa studio and not see him."
