Northern Guitar Shows Issue North East Guitars Show Update

(PRESS RELEASE): NEWS!!!  Due to illness, a couple of trade or private exhibitor tables have just become available at £55 per table (£100 for two). Get in touch asap if you want to sell at this very busy show.

For 2016, THE NORTH EAST GUITAR SHOW returns to the superb, purpose-built event complex at Rainton Meadows Arena, Mercantile Rd, Houghton-le-Spring DH4 5PH and will be on Sunday 13th March from 10am to 4.00pm.

This prestige and spacious location is close to all the North East major routes, provides superb facilities and has the advantage of easy load-in for exhibitors, excellent catering, licensed bar and free parking.

With space for more than 100 dealers the show is a wonderful opportunity to buy, sell and trade new, vintage and second hand guitars, amps, effects and accessories. There will be bargains and special show deals. Free appraisals of instruments and amps will be available.

There will be bands, duos and solo performers all day in the live music pavilion. Scheduled for the live stage this year is a tribute to the music of Jimi Hendrix by Sundance - Cassidy Guitars' sensational three-piece band plus singer/songwriter and 12-string virtuoso, Paul Brett, presented by Vintage Guitars. Roland Boss showcase virtuoso fusion guitarist Alex Hutchings with their latest products from the NAMM show. The Huers folk duo will feature their original songs, great playing, superb harmonies and unusual instruments while Tommy Emmanuel protegé, 16-year old Connor Thomas, will display his acoustic finger-style skills. Popular local four-piece band, Twister, will round off this year's extensive live music roster with a high energy indie rock set.

Many major retailers and distributors will be attending together with a host of second-hand and vintage dealers, parts suppliers and luthiers.

The Show promises to be a treat for any guitar enthusiast. Café and licensed bar. FREE PARKING.

Admission £6 at the door.  Accompanied under-12's free.
