Nikki Sixx Reveals 'The Heroin Diaries' is Being Madeinto a Broadway Play -
Mötley Crüe & Sixx AMbassist Nikki Sixx has revealed that his infamous2007 memoir 'The Heroin Diaries' will be made into aBroadway play.
Sixx took to his personal Twitter and Facebook outlets toannounce the news, he tweeted:
'Ive been getting asked this a lot lately…The answer is:Yes,"The Heroin Diaries" book is being turned into a broadwayplay.'
He added:
'More news to follow in the next few months....Were gettingpretty far down the road...We hope for a late 2013 or early 2014for it to open...'
'The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered RockStar' is a book co-written by Nikki Sixx andIan Gittins. The book is comprised of diary entries written by Sixxfrom Christmas 1986 to Christmas 1987 and chronicles the recordingof Mötley Crüe's 'Girls, Girls, Girls'album and the subsequent 'Girls, Girls, Girls' tour,culminating in Sixx's near-death from a heroin overdose.
