New 'Psychedelic Pill' Artwork Unveiled -

Neil Young has had a last minute change ofheart with regards to the artwork for his new album with long timecollaborators, Crazy Horse.

The new artwork for 'Psychedelic Pill'features just that, an oversized pill with the words 'Neil YoungCrazy Horse' carved into it along with Crazy Horse's logo of asilhouetted Native American riding a horse.

According to a press release, the new design has,

"taken on a stronger, more direct image to reflect thecommanding and expansive music heard on the two CD or three vinyldisc sets."

'Psychedelic Pill' is a two-CDfeaturing nine songs. In true Young fashion three of the nine itstracks are over 16 minutes long, with the opener, 'Driftin'Back' lasting a mammoth 27:36. A triple-LP edition of thealbum will be available Nov. 23.

'Psychedelic Pill'will be Neil Young's second album to be released this year.'Americana,' which is his take on anumber of traditional American folk songs, was released inJune.
