New Look Pixies Perform New Tracks on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon -

As the Pixies wrap up the US leg of their current tour the alt-rockers lined up for their national television debut with their newest member earlier this week.

The new look lineup, which now features Kim Shattuck of The Muffs on bass following Kim Deals’ departure, performed on late night US chat show ‘Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.’

The reformed Pixes performed comeback single ‘Bagboy’ live as well as newest track ‘Indie Cindy,’ both of which feature on their recently released web exclusive EP, ‘EP-1.’

‘EP-1’ marks the first release of several over the next 15 months, according to a New York Times interview with the band (via Slicing Up Eyeballs). Black Francis told the newspaper: “If we’re going to keep touring like this, we need some kind of new story, a new life, something.”

The Pixies will head to Europe next week to begin a two month tour which kicks off in London at the Camden Roundhouse for the iTunes Festival – See below for a full list of European dates.
