New "Archangel"nylon string archtop guitar...

...a rare guitargenre indeed

designed andhand-built for perceptive guitarists to play "Bach, Beatles orBasie" .... beautifully!

"Archangel" has a hand-carved arched spruce top, a hand-carvedarched cherry back.  In fact hand-carved everything, muchlike a violin.  Then hand-polished to a fine patina.  Allfor good reason - an exquisite tone!

"Archangel also features a slightly radiusedfingerboard, Stradivari-type f-holes, a sound-port and high qualitytuning machines to make it a pleasure for either classical,jazz or fingerstyle players to play.

The instrument can be custom orderded in a widevariety of tonewoods and finishes.  This original guitarhas:-

 

    - a spruce soundboard

    - sustainable cherry back andsides

    - Indian rosewood fingerboard on acherry neck. 

    - trimmings in curly maple andAfrican "pinkwood". 

    - a 650mm scale, typical of mostgood classicals.

    - Swiss made Schertler tuningmachines

 

Professional jazz and classical players havedescribed the instrument as very responsive, sexy and prettysounding with excellent sustain.

"Archangel" is able to  fill small and mediumsized club rooms with a beautifully balanced tone but can alsobe ordered with a high quality, natural sounding pickup system forconcerts in bigger concert halls and clubs.
