Nationally Renowned Players Step Up To Help LocalCharity -

Leeds and Bradford based guitar tutor Jonathan Vipond hasannounced a very special event in aid of music charity Clothcat inthe form of an all star master class at PMT music in Leeds. Theevent hopes to raise £500 or more, which will be used to providethe charity with funding for a 10 week youth music project,instruments or other equipment.

The event will feature master classes from renowned guitaristsand educators John Wheatcroft, Jim Clarke and Guitar Interactive'sTom Quayle. John and Jim are both regular contributors to Guitaristand Guitar techniques magazines and Tom is fast becoming one of theUK's most sought after jazz fusion specialists.

"These events have always been fun to run" says organiserJonathan Vipond, "but with this one we hope to do so much more thangive people a great evening of education. Clothcat has been a majorforce in the area for helping people to not only discover music butto show them how they can benefit from being involved in the largermusic community. I hope that by organising this event for them wecan not only raise awareness of what they do but also help byproviding funding for their great work."
