NAMM 2013: Line 6 Introduces New James Tyler Variax JTV-89F Guitar

Line 6 has unveiled a new addition to the James Tyler Variaxfamily with the introduction of the JTV-89F Guitar featuring aFloyd Rose licensed double-locking tremolo system by Graph Tech andthe ability to virtually tune down a whole octave without impactingplayability or intonation.

The Floyd Rose licensed double-locking tremolo system by GraphTech is designed for rock-solid stability even in the face ofserious abuse. The custom-designed bridge includes built-in piezocrystals that flawlessly translate the Variax guitar tone anddynamics. The precision piezos are housed inside a set of GraphTech String Saver™ saddles, which are highly resistant to rust,corrosion or perspiration-ideal for sweat-stained stages andbeer-soaked venues. In addition, JTV-89F features a classicsix-in-line headstock configuration that further enhances tuningstability.
