Motorhead's Phil Campbell Joins Caparisons Artist Line Up -

Caparison Guitars has announced Phil Campbell, lead guitarist with Motorhead, one of the worlds pioneering bands in the hard rock arena, as the latest Caparison artist.

Phil's guitar choice is a white, solid bodied six string Caparison Angelus-M3B +EMG, the ideal instrument for his hard-edged chord work and soaring solos, effortlessly performed on the double octave, ebony fingerboard with12th fret oval inlay.

The maple set neck Angelus-M3B +EMG is designed to deliver high output with a pair of Caparison's optional EMG active humbuckers, with endless sustain provided by the body construction consisting of a carved two-piece maple top, central maple section acting as a tone mantle for the pickups and mahogany wings.

Says Campbell,

"My Caparison is one of the easiest guitars I've ever played and the sound is out of this world."

Phil Campbell joins an impressive list of high energy Caparison players that include:

Joel Stroetzel of Killswitch Engage, Christopher Amott, formerly of Arch Enemy, Jona Weinhofen of Bring Me The Horizon, Mattias "IA" Eklundh of Freak Kitchen, Michael J. Romeo of Symphony X, Jeff Williams and Andy Rosser-Davies of Onslaught, Chris and Tino Troy of Praying Mantis and Dennis Stratton, formerly of Iron Maiden.

Caparison Guitars are designed by Itaru Kanno, a former Charvel/Jackson designer who helped fashion such iconic milestones within guitar design, including the Soloist Special, Dinky, AXE, Falcon.CDS Series, CDS II, Questar Series and the Doug Aldrich Model.
