Metallica Guitar Tech's WorldWired Tour Rig Rundown

A new video in which Metallica’s guitar techs give fans an exclusive look at the band’s gear has been shared to MetallicaTV.

Chad Zaemisch and Justin Crew shot the 19 minute during the band’s current WorldWired tour. The long-time guitar techs for James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett discuss, in detail, what gear the pair are using on the tour covering everything from amps, to picks and even onstage antennas.

Metallica’s WorldWired tour is in support of their tenth studio album, Hardwired... To Self-Destruct released last November. The worldwide trek is one of their biggest and most challenging to date featuring a stage set-up that stretches 180 foot. The tour also marks the band’s first worldwide jaunt since the World Magnetic Tour six years ago.
