Markbass Ships New Bass Multiamp -

Markbass UK distributor MSL Professional has announced the arrival of Bass Multiamp, the manufacturer’s eagerly awaited, all-in-one, flagship bass head. Available in both mono and stereo models, the compact rack mountable BASS Multiamp features an easy-to-use interface and packs out 500W (Mono) or 2 x 500W (Stereo) of warm power. The unit is equipped with an incredible selection of modern and vintage virtual bass amps including some of the finest Markbass models like the Little Mark 111, Big Bang and TTE 500, in addition to amps by other manufacturers. It also includes a range of modelled speaker cabs including the popular Markbass Standard series 151, 104HR and older Classic 152 and 106 models. The final sound can also be passed through a varied selection of microphone responses to give that illusive miked up feel.

A range of studio and stompbox effects plus dynamic processors, focussed on the specific needs of the bassist, can easily be loaded into presets or user FX chains. Standard chorus, delay and compressor modules sit alongside a Markbass supersynth, filter envelope section and others. External effects loops can be inserted anywhere in the FX chain, with a volume pedal added into the chain at any point for maximum flexibility. A chromatic tuner is also included. The unit comes with 104 factory editable presets and there’s also plenty of room for the player’s own.

We’re very excited about the release of the new Bass Multiamp” says Simon Lowther from MSL Pro.

As usual, Markbass has listened to its customers and come up with a solution that is highly creative and practical to use, while being specifically tailored to the needs of the bass player. And of course it has the unmistakable Markbass sound!”
