Lynyrd Skynrd and Bad Company Announce Co-HeadlineTour -

A double headline tour featuring Lynyrd Skynrdand Bad Company which is set to take in 12 datesacross the US has been announced for the summer. 

The tour is in celebration of each of the band's 40thanniversaries and will be the first time the legendary outfits haveshared a stage together. Although, Paul Rodgershas toured with Skynyrd in the past.

"Every member of Skynyrd has been fans of Bad Company from theget go," says Johnny Van Zant. "Personally, Paul is one of myfavorite rock singers. We have a deep appreciation for BadCompany's music and look forward to being on the road with them andsharing the stage."

"The Skynyrds and I go back to the 70's and the days andnights at the Hyatt House on Sunset in LA aka the Riot House," addsRodgers. "In the 90's, the band introduced me to my wife Cynthia,and that's why I am so damned happy and healthy theseyears."

Special guests support act, Black Stone Cherrywill be kicking things off on 'The 40 Tour.'

Jul 17 - Camden, NJ - Susquehanna Bank Center
Jul 19 - Burgettstown, PA - First Niagara Pavilion
Jul 20 - Noblesville, IN - Kilpsch Music Center
Jul 23 - Clarkston, MI - DTE Energy Music Theater
Jul 24 - Cincinnati, OH - Riverbend Music Center
Jul 26 - Gilford, NH - Meadowbrook (Not a Live Nation date)
