Live Music Schedule of The Merseyside Guitar Show Released

The Merseyside Guitar Show takes place at  Aintree Racecourse Exhibition Centre on Sunday 22nd November from 10am to 4.00pm.

The show is a wonderful opportunity to grab pre-Xmas bargains in new, vintage and second hand guitars, amps, effects and accessories.

100 exhibitors with thousands of bargains in absolutely everything guitar-related.

 New, vintage and second-hand electrics, acoustics, basses, custom builds, lapsteels, amps, effects, cigar box and oil can guitars, stands, pickups, speakers, cabs, PA, strings, straps, books, CD's, DVD's, leads, flightcases, bodies, necks, tuners, knobs, gifts, magazines, t-shirts, slides, picks, cases, transformers, valves & capos. 

Many retailers and distributors will be attending together with a host of second-hand and vintage dealers, parts suppliers, luthiers and even private collectors.

11.00am The Huers - excellent folk duo featuring superb harmonies and great playing

11.45am  Paul Brett - acoustic singer/songwriter and 12-string guitar virtuoso - presented by Vintage Guitars

12.50pm Dr Strangelove - sensational 5 piece classic rock covers band

2.15pm The Connie Lush Band - UK's top blues vocalist featuring guitarist Steve Wright with his Patrick Eggle Nashville Artist SW model

Workshops and demos from Fane Loudspeakers, Hamstead Soundworks, Twinstomp Pedals, Bluebird Amps and McCrerie Guitars.

The Show is sponsored by John Hornby Skewes, Fret-King and Vintage Guitars, Hughes & Kettner Amps, Reidys, the Musicians' Union, Promenade Music and PMT.

A great day out for any guitar enthusiast.

Admission £6. (Accompanied under 12's free). Free parking. Cafe and licensed bar.
