KISS Announce 'The Casablanca Singles 1974-1982' Box-Set-

KISS have announced details of a new box-setcomprised solo of singles released during their CasablancaRecords tenure.

"The Casablanca Singles 1974-1982"will feature either 29 seven-inch vinyl singles or 29 CD discs, allhoused in a die cut shadow box with limited edition etched silvermetal plate and ribbon pull magnetic closure customKISS 45s box with 26 collectable picture sleevesfrom original single releases around the world.

"Even I haven't heard some of this stuff, but this is allpart of our master plan to celebrate KISS at this milestone in ourcareers. This box set represents us at the very beginning of ourcareer, and documents the band's early success and subsequentgrowth," says Gene Simmons.

"This collection is meant for the true KISSaficionado," adds Paul Stanley. "Thepackaging really captures the development of both our music andimage at a very crucial period in the band's history."

In their early days, KISS released a total of29 singles on seven-inch 45 RPM records for the Casablanca label.These were available for sale to the public, used for commercialradio airplay and to promote album sales. Many of these singles hadentirely different mixes, edits and material that didn't appear ontheir vinyl albums.
