Iron Maiden to Launch 'Trooper' Beer -
Iron Maiden will launch their very own brand ofTrooper beer in select Robinson pubs in the UK on the evening ofMay 9, reports HenneMusic.
A recent report by UK tabloid The Sun says the product isexperiencing record sales in advance of its official launch, withRobinson brewers having to work a six-day weeks to keep up withdemand by metal loving beer fans.
The company is brewing three batches a day for the first time inits near 200-year history.
"We haven't spent a single penny on advertising," saidDavid Bremner of Robinsons. "This is history in the making forbrewing."
The beer has been named after Maiden classic 'TheTrooper,' which featured on 1983s 'Piece OfMind,' and was produced with the help of vocalistBruce Dickinson.
Over a quarter of a million pints have been pre-sold in the UKalone, and more than 100 countries have applied to stock Trooperbeer.
