Iron Maiden, Megadeth andAnthrax are among a clutch of hard rock &metal acts that have been nominated for the Best Hard Rock/MetalPerformance in the 55th annual Grammy Awards.
The trio will join Lamb of God, MarilynManson and Halestorm in the category forthe accolade which is traditionally awarded before the mainceremony is broadcast.
East London heavy metal elders Iron Maidenreceived their very first Grammy in 2011 for track 'ElDorado' which features on their fifteenth album, 'TheFinal Frontier.' The 2013 nomination is a first forAnthrax, however fellow thrashersMegadeth have now been nominated eleven times, butare stil yet to win.
