Höfner are pleased to announce a new Limited Edition guitar -The New President with smoked eucalyptus woods used for the backand sides.

This limited edition model of just 15 pieces worldwide is handcrafted in the Hagenau workshops Germany using the finest woods.Featuring a solid spruce top and smoked eucalyptus back and sidesit represents the very best craftsmanship and attention to detailthat Höfner is renowned for. A natural thin coat finish highlightsthe beautiful grain and colours of the woods used. The woods arefurther complimented by superb bindings and purfling reminiscent ofthe style used in the 1950s heyday of jazz guitar construction. Thebody width of 16 inches provides the perfect balance between usablesize and tonal quality. Fitted with two Höfner "Staple" pickups, athree way switch and individual volume and tone controls a widevariety of expressive tones are available from this master guitar.Fitted with a traditional Höfner "Lyre" tailpiece and a Höfnerebony bridge these compliment the overall classic lines of thisjazz guitar.
