Fret-King Unveils new Black Label Exige Standard

With its killer looks, a host of contemporary features and unbelievably deceptive range of useable tones the Exige Standard brings a new classic with an edgy profile to the Fret-King Black Label series.

A unique offset body, asymmetric horns and sloping heel give the Exige superb neutral balance and excellent upper fret access, whilst the signature Fret-King forearm scoop and ‘T-Cut’ make this guitar both practical and comfortable.

Two ‘original voicing’ Wilkinson designed WVC double coil medium-high outputpickups with solid nickel silver covers give you perfectly defined hi-gain rock and metal, to-die-for blues and crunch, and yet can stay crystal clear for those all-important clean tones.

A simple, ergonomic and effective control layout of three way toggle switch, common volume control perfectly placed for ‘violining’, common tone control and Fret-King’s unique Vari-coil™, which progressively rolls whichever of the pickups is in use from twin coil to single coil, opening up a whole host of tones not normally associated with a guitar with this pickup configuration.

Tonally, the Exige Standard lets you move seamlessly from bridge single coil, to neck double coil, to neck and bridge single coil split, to bridge double coil, to twin double coil, for massive versatility and the ultimate in high output heaven.
