(PRESS RELEASE): Recognised around the world as industry leaders in acoustic instrument pickup design, preamps, amplification, Fishman are celebrating 35 hugely successful years for a business that began with relatively humble beginnings.

“When I started out, I was just looking for a better solution to amplify my bass.” says founder and President Larry Fishman. "From there things really took off and we went from Fishman Transducers, to Fishman Acoustic Amplification and now it’s Fishman Inspired Performance Technology.”

Indeed, the last few years have seen some real innovation from those clever chaps at Fishman, first with the Fishman TriplePlay Wireless MIDI pickup system and more recently with the highly successful FLUENCE electric guitar pickups - a revolutionary take on a design that had been unchanged for decades, providing electric guitarists with authentic sounding, noise and hum free pickups, with a choice of two classic pickup tones at the flick of a switch.

To coincide with this anniversary milestone, Fishman have updated and relaunched their website - www.fishman.com - making it even easier to navigate to find exactly what you need, as well as a host of useful content such as video tutorials, artist information, downloadable tech and specification for every product and of course up-to-date news and information on all things Fishman.

“Our new website offers a better user experience all around for consumers and dealers,” says Director of Marketing Chris DeMaria. “The new design aligns perfectly with Fishman’s ‘Inspired Performance Technology’ branding. The integration of our social media feed and video content is a huge step in tying all of our marketing communications together.”

With a host of prize draws and giveaways planned for 2016 across their social media platforms, there’s never been a better time to check Fishman out!
