(PRESS RELEASE): On Saturday January 24th at NAMM, Eventide’s H9 MAX received the award for Outstanding Technical Achievement in the category of: Musical Instrument Amplification & Effects.

The H9 MAX gives guitar players an arsenal of Eventide’s best effect algorithms combined with a powerful full function software app for PCs, Mac, and iOS devices. The H9 Control app connects to the pedal wirelessly via BlueTooth and has been acknowledged as a significant innovation for guitar pedals. This award acknowledges an additional key innovation, the H9’s ability to add new effects over time.

“Our vision for the H9 was to create an effects 'vessel' that would allow users to pour in new effects as we developed them. The first release of the H9 was packed with 40 of Eventide’s best effects. Since then we’ve added UltraTap, EQ Compressor, Resonator, CrushStation and the recently announced, SpaceTime,” commented Nalia Sanchez. “Eventide would like to thank the voters and especially our H9 users. We’re driven by user feedback and inspired by the musicians and audio engineers who use our gear. They inform every aspect our what we do; from product development and all the way through each product’s lifecycle. We are committed to creating the best sounding effects, for all musical applications and we couldn’t accomplish that without the inspiration that we receive from the musicians using them."

The NAMM TEC Awards are the professional audio and music production industry’s most prestigious awards honoring excellence in sound technology and creativity.
