In a rather unprecedented step, DonDokken has leaked a demo of his upcoming acoustic projectwith Michael Schenker,  before theex-Scorpion guitarist has even had a chance tohear it for himself.

The pair collaborated to work on the new album which Dokken hasdescribed as "not rock - a kind of chill record," reports Classic Rock Magazine.

The Dokken front man unveiled the demo during thelatest edition of the Dropping The Needle podcast.Dokken plays a guitar track by Schenker andexplains:

"I'm actually singing a duet with his solo. It'll really be achallenge to me: how are we going to write lyrics and melodies overa song that's just a continuous guitar solo?

"Michael might hate it - he hasn't heard it yet."

Dokken's latest album 'Broken Bones'was released through FrontiersRecords in Europe on Sept.21st and in North America onSept.25th. The Deluxe CD/DVD edition of the album includes a'Making of the Album' video.
