Don Alder Announces UK Tour Dates With Fingerstyle Collective

Guitar Interactive columnist Don Alder will take his uniqueAcoustic style out on the road this month as part of theFingerstyle Collective group. The group which features Donalongside Dan LaVoie, Justin King and Stuart Masters begin theirtour in Haverhill on 18th July. See full dates below.

Don Alder is a modern-day Acoustic GuitarRenaissance Man. He's won the International FingerstyleCompetition; Guitar Player Magazine's Guitar Superstar Champion2010; and, recently, the  2011 Guitar Idol competition. Don'sphenomenal fingerstyle playing and rich voice captivate and hebrings an unparalleled dynamic intensity to the stage. 

Dan LaVoie is one of the few musicians inthe world actively composing and performing on the rare harpguitar, bringing a unique sound and texture to fans of acousticmusic. In 2010, Dan released his highly anticipated second CDentitled "Cause and Effect" featuring duets with Andy Mckee andMichael Manring.  

Justin King is a musician and artist fromEugene, Oregon, recognised as a pioneering guitarist for hispercussive "tapping" playing style, consisting of a variety ofinfluences ranging from Flamenco to Celtic music. His latest recordis a solo effort and features King on a broad range of instruments,including cello, drums, keyboard, bass, and guitar.  

Stuart Masters combines Western and IndianClassical, Folk, and Celtic influences to create a unique, hybridstyle, with pure, haunting vocals. His self-produced debut albumcame out in 2010, and 2012 sees the release of his cross-culturalcollaboration with renowned Sarode and Rebab player, RishiRanjan.
