Desperately Seeking Speedsters

John Hornby Skewes and Co Ltd are looking for information regarding two Italia Speedster X guitars that went missing in the USA prior to being shipped back to their warehousing and office premises in Garforth, Leeds UK.

Scheduled for UK release in June 2014, the two guitars are advance samples of the new Speedster X series and as such are the only ones of their kind in the US at the moment and are both highly recognisable due to their unique design and finishes.

The Speedster Xf has a Korina body with synthetic Urethan top, maple set neck and rosewood fingerboards, two hybrid active double coil pickups and is finished in an extremely eye catching black and white finish. The Speedster Xr has the same specification and is finished in an unusual metallic red. Both models have a UK RRP of £1099 including hardshell case.
