(PRESS RELEASE): Dean Zelinsky Private Label Guitars, in conjunction with Guitars for Vets (G4V), a non-profit organization that provides free guitars and lessons to veterans struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), announced today the release of the official Guitars For Vets Guitar. With every purchase of this commemorative guitar at the Dean Zelinsky Guitars website the company will donate a second identical guitar to a veteran enrolled in the G4V program.

“When you buy the G4V Tagliare, you can feel good about putting a fine guitar in the hands of someone who sacrificed so much for our country,” said Dean Zelinsky. “We hope many artists and musicians alike will fly the flag of G4V by purchasing and playing these unique guitars. They can be proud that through their support, veterans will be receiving guitars, lessons and therapy through music.”

“Six strings of separation may be all that stands between an injured American hero and their journey toward recovery,” said G4V founder, Patrick Nettesheim. “By purchasing this guitar, you are bringing the healing power of music to someone that has sacrificed for our country. It’s simply rockers helping out those who rock!”

On sale now, the G4V Tagliare is based off of Dean’s standard Tagliare model and features high-end electronics, hardware and materials. It comes in a choice of four high-gloss finishes: Military Green, Navy Blue, Crimson Red and Vintage White with a retail price of $369. The guitar is only available online at www.deanzelinsky.com or at Zelinsky’s Chicago-area showroom.

The G4V program consists of 10-weeks of free guitar lessons designed to engage veterans suffering from PTSD, known as “the invisible wounds of war.” Those who complete the lessons receive a free guitar. To date, G4V has completed over 20,000 guitar lessons and distributed over 2,000 guitars to Veterans. Veterans enrolled in the G4V program at any of the 40 chapters nationwide will be identified who might benefit from receiving this special edition G4V Tagliare guitar. With the addition of this new Dean Zelinsky Guitars For Vets Program, G4V plans to increase these numbers and help to heal many more veterans through the power of music.
