More than 30 new guitars have been announced by CORT, to be premiered at NAMM show. The new instruments cover a di-verse range of styles, further underlining Cort’s ability to deliver a high quality product in every genre of guitar playing. The 2019 collection focusses on spec and attention to detail whilst still offering great value to the customer.
The new launches include the KX508MS – the first multi-scale 8 string guitar from Cort, featuring the highly regarded Fishman Fluence™ pickups for the best of both active and passive worlds, with a stunning Mariana Blue Burst finish. It has a Poplar Burl top on a Swamp Ash body delivers plenty of high mids and looks incredible on stage. The extended scale length means that the low end stays tight and punchy.
Also launched, is the new G290FAT – boutique styling and expanded tonal options along with higher grade materials and hardware components provide a more luxurious look and feel. A 5-way switch for the two humbuckers expands the tonal options from thick and meaty humbucker sounds to glassy and sparkling single-coil sounds for the utmost in sonic versatili-ty. Available in 2 superior finishes - Antique Violin Burst and Bright Blue Burst.
The G260CS has more of a vintage vibe, featuring a nickel-covered humbucker in the bridge position, vintage machine heads and a roasted maple neck, the G260CS produces the big, warm sound that harks back to the classic rock era of the 60s and 70s and with an added Treble Bleed circuit that prevents loss of the treble frequencies at lower volumes. Available in Olym-pic White, 3 Tone Sunburst and Black.
