Carlsbro Classic Vintage Combo at Musikmesse

Carlsbro is showing for the limited edition VAC 15 “Greenback” Classic vintage tube combo, debuted earlier in the year at NAMM. Limited to just 300 pieces, the Greenback endowed VAC 15 is a highly affordable vintage sound combo, representing the very best of Carlsbro’s heritage as a great British guitar amp manufacturer.

The Celestion G12 M Greenback replaces the usual 8 inch speaker in the standard VAC 15. Classic vintage tonality is produced from a combination of the Greenback, and the 3 x 12AX7 preamp and 2 x EL84 power stage tubes. An enlarged cabinet accommodates the bigger speaker and the amplifier, and also features enhanced, heavy duty input and output power supply transformers. Controls feature spring reverb, a bright switch, 3-band EQ and an effects loop. “Anything comparable, in terms of sound and quality, will set you back at least twice the price.”

Also on show is the complete line-up of the newly restyled and revamped VAC and EVO tube series, and Viper bass amplifier range. CD by Carlsbro also gets new product in the form of five new e-drum kits, building on the success of the CD ADD501, the most affordable pro electronic drum kit on the market. The new range includes both larger and innovative, space saving compact models.
