Brand New Prog Festival to Kick Off in 2013 -

A brand new two day boutique music festival set to feature thevery best in progressive rock will debut next year at the Magna Science Adventure,Rotherham.

Set to take place on April 6 - 7, the prog-fiesta,entitled HRH:Prog Festival, is being run bythe team behind acclaimed weekend events Hard Rock Hell & Hammerfest.

Classic RockMagazine, whose sister publication Prog Magazine will presentthe event, has said that the festival will aim to offer aninteractive experience using the Magna Science Adventure's uniquesetting, while offering the broadest possible range of progressivemusic.

Already confirmed are Hawkwind, The CrazyWorld of Arthur Brown, The Enid,Caravan, Mostly Autumn,TesseracT, Aeon Zen,Enochian Theory, Order of Voices andAntlered Man with many more to follow.

Chic Festivals CEO Jonni Davis says:

 "We have always felt that the UK market was missing adedicated prog festival, and as huge fans we wanted to put onsomething that honoured the world of prog, both old andnew.

"We needed a special location to house this style of event.The Magna Science Adventure, a renovated steel foundry willdifferent interactive zones, is the perfect setting for a newexperience."
