Black Sabbath Receive Three Grammy Nominations -
The Black Sabbath comeback album '13' was arguably one of the musical highlights of 2013.
After receiving critical acclaim and plaudits from all four corners of the globe the goth-rock elders went on to sell out arena shows worldwide in support of their nineteenth studio album.
And now it would seem the trio of Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi, will be rewarded for their efforts after being nominated for a Grammy, while their track ;God Is Dead?' has been shortlisted for two more.
Black Sabbath have been named in the categories of Best Rock Album, Best Metal Performance and Best Rock Song for the 56th ceremony, which takes place on January 26 in Los Angeles. The Midlands metal titans have previously won just one Grammy, for their live rendition of Iron Man on '99 album 'Reunion'.
